Hey Bundy Bears! It's been a long while since my last newsletter. March 2024 to be exact! A lot has happened if you've only read my email newsletters! This might be a hefty newsletter but if I keep it up the next one shouldn't be as long!
IRL Updates
Since we talked last, I actually started a new job! It's a bit of a move of more IT work than the broadcast and social media that I was doing in my previous position, but it's been a fantastic change and I'm working with real great new folks! I'm looking forward to all the opportunities and I'm sure you'll hear about this more on stream or in conversations!
Twitch Streams
I've been streaming three times a week for the past year or more. Tuesdays I stream a cooperative game with my friend Bookslap for a segment we've called Teamwork Tuesday. We've played games like Split Fiction, Hexen, Castle Crashers, and a ton of other games! The other two stream days currently are Fridays and Sundays around 7pm Eastern US Time where I play a bunch of different types of games. Variety is the name of the game for my streams as I think if I played one game all the time I would get very bored.
Podcast
We've also resurrected the "Life in the Bear Cave" podcast! Bookslap and I have taken to once a month talking about the games we played the month prior and whatever other topics come to mind. I mean we talked about being "unc" in the last one so you can imagine how that went...You can check it out below or anywhere you get podcasts!
My merch store is still live and kicking! A few new pieces here or there! Definitely check out the store, and maybe add some new Bundy Bear merchandise to your collection!
I hope to do this newsletter once a month again. It's been great rebuilding my brand and getting back into the groove of content creation. Be sure you're subscribed to get the newsletter first in your email inbox!
Discord & Other Social Media
If you didn't know, most of the non-stream conversations happen at Bundy's Bear Cave, the community Discord Server. We've built up to over 200 users and growing! We have a weekly movie night where we watch a movie selected by the community on Saturday nights and perhaps some other events might be coming down the pipeline!
I haven't been as active on many social media lately, but I still have my Instagram, my Bluesky, and my TikTok which I check often. I've also been more active on Reddit and was reminded that there's an r/andybundy subreddit that I made back in the early days of my Twitch streams!
Music Mondays and Other Posts
I've also been writing blog posts on my main website! Every Monday I've been writing a Music Monday post which is basically a small journal entry highlighting music, specifically video game music, and explaining how or why the song has had significance to me (or whoever writes it that week) and it's been a great exercise in getting some consistent writing in! I also will do one-off posts like a post of mini-reviews of games I did in the past!
